NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, the Natural Resources Board will tour and receive presentations at the following locations: At approximately 12:35 p.m., the Board will arrive at Shivering Sands State Natural Area, Glidden Drive, Sturgeon Bay. At approximately 1:20 p.m., the Board will arrive at Ridges Sanctuary, 8288 County Road Q, Bailey’s Harbor. At approximately 1:55 p.m., the Board will arrive at the Former Reynolds Property (Door County Land Trust), Three Springs Road, North Bay. At approximately 2:55 p.m., the Board will arrive at Ellison Bluff County Park, Ellison Bluff Road, Ellison Bay. At approximately 4:05 p.m., the Board will arrive at Mink River Estuary, Mink River Road, Ellison Bay. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Natural Resources Board will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at the Stone Harbor Resort, Europe Bay Room, 107 North First Avenue, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. The Board will act on items 1-7 as listed on the Agenda.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that matters concerning natural resource issues or the Department's program responsibilities or operations specified in the Wisconsin Statutes, which arise after publication of this agenda may be added to the agenda and publicly noticed no less than two hours before the scheduled board meeting, if the Board Chair determines that the matter is urgent.

      1. The Friends of Horicon International Education Center will donate up to $1,910,000 for the Horicon Marsh building construction
      2. Peninsula Golf Associates will donate $212,077 for the renovation of the Peninsula State Park Golf Course Clubhouse
      3. The Natural Resources Foundation will donate $28,150 to the Bureau of Endangered Resources: $16,150 in support of raptor monitoring and $12,000 in support of bat monitoring
      4. The Friends of Hartman Creek State Park will donate $19,386 towards the purchase of a Bobcat Tractor
      5. The Ox-Bow Sportsman's Club will donate $10,000 to be used towards the Aders Creek Restoration Project on Brillion Wildlife Area
