Notes: Northern pike, largemouth bass, panfish, campsites, canoe and boat rentals, fishing piers, picnic areas and hiking trails. It is also home of Marsh Tower, the tallest wooden tower in Wisconsin. It is 80-feet tall and the observation deck overlooks 13,000 acres.

Location: On the Bay of Green Bay at 3635 Sturgeon Bay Road (also called Highway 57). About two miles south of Dykesville, WI.

Lily Lake Park

Location: East of Green Bay, WI off Highway 29 on 3897 Lily Lake Road.

Voyageur Park

Location: A municipal park located on the Fox River at the end of Williams Street on the east side of DePere, WI.
Notes: Most of the shoreline is paved and easily accessible.

Notes: St. Feriole Island is a large park with plenty of opportunities to fish from shore at various locations within park. Restrooms located on site, food and beverages are also available on the Island. There is an opportunity to catch smallmouth and largemouth bass, white bass, bluegills, crappie, walleye, sauger, yellow perch, catfish, bullheads, and freshwater drum.

Marshall Park Pond

Location: West side of Allen Boulevard, across from Marshall Park boat launch in Madison, WI.

Salmo Pond

Location: 2 miles west of Cross Plains, WI on Highway 14.
Notes: Restrooms; bluegill, smallmouth bass, trout are commonly found.

Sun Prairie Industrial Park Pond

Location: Sun Prairie, WI.

Tenney Park

Location: 1440 E. Johnson Street, on the eastside of Madison, WI.
Notes: Restrooms, picnic area, beach, playground, shelter house. Commonly found: bluegill, pumpkinseed, largemouth bass, crappie, carp.

The Jenni and Kyle Preserve

Location: 925 Post Road, on the southside of Madison, WI
Notes: Take Fish Hatchery Road south to Greenway Cross and turn left or east (this becomes Stewart Street) and continue for .7 miles; turn right onto Syene Road and go .2 miles to Post Road and turn right. Commonly found: trout, panfish.

Token Creek Ponds

Location: Off Highway 19 in Token Creek, WI.
Notes: Stocked with "brood stock" browns and rainbows a couple days prior to fishing opener. Only good for opening day or so.

Vilas Park

Location: 1330 Vilas Park Drive, on the near westside of Madison, WI.
Fish Species: bluegill, pumpkinseed, largemouth bass, northern pike, muskellunge. Other facilities: restrooms, picnic area, beach, playground, shelter house, zoo.

Warner Park

Location: 1511 Northport Drive on the northside of Madison, WI.

Sunset Park

Location: Along 3rd Avenue on the east side of the City of Sturgeon Bay, WI.
Notes: Includes fishing in Little Lake that is stocked with panfish and shorefishing along the shore of Sturgeon Bay for smallmouth bass and panfish.

Location: On the St. Louis River at the extreme western end of Belknap Street in Superior, WI.

Location: Just west of the entrance road to Barkers Island which is visible to traffic passing by on Highway 2.
Notes: Amenities include benches and protective railings. Bathrooms are found a short distance away at the tourism center. Walleye, northern pike, yellow perch and crappies.

Lakeside Park

Location: On Lake Winnebago, at the north end of Fond du Lac, WI at North Main Street and North Park Street.
Notes: Lagoons to fish for bullhead, bluegill, perch, white bass and an occasional gamefish. Park has a playground, rides and access to Lake Winnebago. The harbor at the east end of the park also has fishing opportunities and a lighthouse.

Location: Off of Highway 23 about 2 miles west of Princeton, WI.

Townline Lake

Location: County forest property on CTH T 6 miles west of Summit Lake.

White Lake – White Lake Park

Location: Municipal park on CTH M on the north side of the city of White Lake 1.5 miles south of STH 64.
Notes: Disabled accessible fishing pier. Bluegill, pumpkinseed, rock bass, perch, crappie, bullhead, suckers, largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye. Picnic area, shelter, restrooms, boat launch and public swimming beach.

Wolf River – Post Lake Dam Wayside

Location: On Clear Lake Rd. 1/4 mile south of County Highway K in Post Lake (5 miles east of Elcho).
Notes: Disabled accessible fishing platform. Shoreline fishing access on the Wolf River downstream from Post Lake dam. Bluegill, pumpkinseed, perch, crappie, rock bass, bullhead, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike, muskellunge, suckers, and redhorse. Picnic area, restrooms, and canoe launch.

Important: From April 1 through May 31 there is a fish refuge from the Post Lake dam downstream 75 feet. No fishing is allowed in the refuge during this time period (the fishing platform is not in this refuge area). Also, gamefish (walleye, northern pike, trout) season opens the first Saturday in May. Muskellunge season opens the Saturday before Memorial Day. Bass harvest season opens the third Saturday in June. The Wolf River upstream from the Shawano paper mill dam is not open to year around fishing for gamefish. Panfish (bluegill, crappie, perch, rock bass, bullhead, etc.) may be fished year around in the Wolf River below the fish refuge.

Ament Lake

Location: County forest property on Ament Lake Rd. From STH 17, 4 miles north of Dudley, go 2.5 miles west on CTH B and then 3 miles west on Bear Trail Rd. to Ament Lake Rd. which dead ends at the lake. Ament Lake is the larger lake on the east side of the road.

Lake Alexander – Council Grounds State Park

Miller Dam Flowage

Location: Approximately 18 miles west of Medford, WI or 5 miles northeast of Gilman, WI.

Totogatic Fishing Pier

Location: Located at Washburn County Campground on Minong Flowage. Northeast of Minong, WI off County Highway I.
Notes: Panfish, bass, northern pike and carp most frequent catches. Picnic, beach and boat landing facilities.

Yellow River Flowage Pier and Shoreline

Location: On the west-side of Spooner, WI on the southside of Highway 70 at the Governor Thompson Hatchery grounds.
Notes: Fish for panfish, trout, bass, northern, walleye and other species from the bank or several fishing piers on the flowage or the river below the dam. Also see fish in the show pond. Check out the Hatchery Visitor Center or take in a guided hatchery tour. Hatchery visitor center is generally not open on weekends.

Boot Lake

Location: In Ridge Run County Park. Take State Highway 33, west out of West Bend, WI to University Drive (about one-half mile west of U.S. Highway 45) then go south one-half mile to park.

Homestead Hollow Park Pond

Location: In Homestead Hollow County Park located on Friestadt Road, one-quarter mile east of the junction of County Highway Y (Goldendale Road) and Friestadt Road in Germantown, WI.
Notes: Urban fishing water - see urban fishing rules in hook & line regulations. Shoreline is accessible to public.

Kewaskum Millpond

Location: Located in River Hill Park at the junction of State Highway 28 and Parkview Drive in Kewaskum, WI.
Notes: Urban fishing water - see urban fishing rules in hook & line regulations. Shoreline is accessible to public.

Pike Lake

Location: In Pike Lake State Park. Take State Highway 41 to State Highway 60, go west on 60, 3 miles to Kettle Moraine Drive, then go south on Kettle Moraine Drive to the park.
Notes: Fee for admission.

Sandy Knoll Park Pond

Location: In Sandy Knoll County Park. Take State Highway 33 west out of Newburg, WI (or east out of West Bend, WI) to North Trenton Road, then go north 1.5 miles to Wallace Lake Road, go east on Wallace Lake Road about one-eighth of a mile to park entrance.

Wells Lake

Waukesha County

Ashippun Lake Park

Location: In Oconomowoc, WI. Take Capitol Drive west to State Highway 16, go west on 16 to County Highway P, then take P north to County Highway K, go west on K to McMahon Road. Watch for "public access" sign.
Notes: Run by Waukesha County Parks. Park has picnic area, restrooms and shorefishing.

Denoon Lake

Location: Located on Crowbar Drive, south of Kelsey Drive. Go west from Highway Y.
Notes: Public park with ballfields, restrooms, picnic area and boat launch. Not much shorefishing, due to marshy area near shore.

Lac La Belle

Location: At the Fowler Lake Dam, on Highway 67, one-quarter mile north of State Highway 16 in the Oconomowoc, WI. Located just northeast of the beach and park on Lac La Belle. The beach and park are on Highway 16, just west of Highway 67.
Notes: Disabled accessible public fishing pier.

Little Muskego Lake

Location: Access from Idle Isle Park in Muskego, WI on the northeast side of Little Muskego Lake. Take Martin Drive to Hardtke Drive to the park.
Note: Idle Isle Park has a beach, picnic area, restrooms, accessible public fishing pier and boat launch.

Lower Phantom Lake

Location: In Phantom Glen Park in Mukwonago, WI. Take County Highway ES (Main Street) to Andrews Street, then go west into the park.
Notes: Public park with picnic area, restrooms, disabled accessible public fishing pier and boat ramp.

McKeaun Springs

Location: Trout pond located on the west side of Highway 67, between Piper Road and Road X. About 3 miles north of Eagle, WI.
Notes: No facilities, but there is a picnic area with restrooms just a short distance to the south. DNR manages as a children's trout fishing pond. This is managed as a category 5 trout water. Only artificial lures may be used and all trout caught shall be immediately released.

Nagawicka Lake

Location: In Nagawaukee County Park. Take County Highway C, three-quarters of a mile north of Interstate 94 in Delafield, WI.
Notes: Public beach, picnic area, restrooms and concessions, camping, shorefishing and boat launch.

Nemahbin Lakes, Upper and Lower

Location: Southeast of Oconomowoc, WI, off of County Highway DR.
Notes: County owned access on frontage road between the two lakes, Highway DR. shorefishing on Upper Nemahbin from the road right-of-way. DNR owned carry-in site on Lower Nemahbin off Sugar Island Road.

Pewaukee Lake

Location: Village park in downtown Pewaukee, WI.
Notes: Public park with beach and public fishing pier. Can also access Pewaukee River just below the dam. On Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Pewaukee. Boat launch and shorefishing from county park and boat ramp at the west end, on Highway E.

Wildwood Park

Location: South side of Marshfield, WI, on west side of Highway 13.
Notes: Bank fishing, two large ponds and restroom facilities.

Lake Wazeecha County Park

Location: County Highway U on the east side of Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Notes: Bank fishing, picnic and camping, facilities, and restrooms.

Wisconsin River

Location: Much of the both banks of the Wisconsin River in the cities of Wisconsin Rapids and Nekoosa, WI are available for fishing.
