Job Description:

LTE - Environmental Program Associate - Data Management and Support

The DNR is hiring 2 Environmental Program Associates - Data Management and Support. One position will be located in Green Bay and the other position will be located in Rhinelander. The Environmental Program Associates (EPAs) will provide programmatic data management support in the R&R program. The positions must understand the structure of the R&R program, its standard policies and procedures, and databases. The EPAs will be responsible for the organization, maintenance and coordination for records management which includes the digitization documents project. These positions will also respond to inquiries from internal and external customers and provide assistance regarding records and data quality.

70% - Responsible for the organization, maintenance and coordination of program records; leading and providing support for the program's electronic records management systems.
- Update the BRRTS database systems and properly file all records accordingly.
- Lead records management archiving projects, special projects and the e-document project to ensure files are stored in the proper place for easy accessibility for program staff.

25% - Assist with external and internal requests and inquiries for records.
- Respond to inquiries from customers and provide interpretation of programmatic policies, procedures, rules and regulations with regards to program records.
- Ensure data integrity for information shared between the BRRTS program, SERTS (spills database) and SHWIMS program (i.e. Bureau of Waste Management Tracking System). Work collaboratively with the GIS/Database team to ensure data integrity.

5% Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and public.
- Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, punctual, and detail orientated.
- Ability to work alone and prioritize multiple work tasks.
- Ability to lift 20-50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, e.g. Workd, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint.
- Ability to learn internal database systems and GIS.
