Job Description: IT Communications Support Specialist - LTE

This position reports to the Device Support Section Chief in the Bureau of Technology Services (BTS), and acts as a resource for webcasting, event recording, and conference room audio-visual support. Webcasting and recording events occur across the state, so travel in State vehicle and working non-standard hours on occasion is a requirement. Moving equipment and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds is a requirement.

50% Support Skype for Business meetings and the audio and video technologies used in GEF 2 conference rooms.

30% For telepresence meetings provide advanced event planning, support, and testing, and provide 'day of' technical support as well.

20% Webcasting and Event recording support. Support audio and video technologies, as well as set up, tear down, and logistical support, for events.

Knowledge Required:

Required Qualifications:
- Experience in supporting audio- visual technologies in general
- Strong diagnostic skills and experience
- Experience in supporting logistics for equipment moving and setup for high profile events

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in supporting telepresence technologies
- Experience is support mediasite technologies
- Experience is supporting audio during large events
