Job Description: IT Coordinator - LTE

The Department of Natural Resources is hiring an Information Technology Coordinator in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. This position is a great opportunity to gain valuable IT and customer service experience!

The Wisconsin DNR is located at 101 S. Webster Street in the heart of downtown Madison, near the state capitol, the Madison Metro bus route and the Capital City bike path. In partnership with individuals and organizations, the DNR staff manage fish, wildlife, forests, parks, air, and water resources while promoting a healthy, sustainable environment and a full range of outdoor activities.

The IT Coordinator will provide IT-Support for staff and managers for the entire External Services Division. Duties and responsibilities will include: installation of the Windows 10 operating system, the Office 365 suite and other software packages; physical installation of computer hardware for new and replacement computers; and troubleshooting/resolution/tracking of technology requests and incidents in Cherwell.

Knowledge Required:

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Experience with Windows 10 operating system and Office 365
2. Experience supporting a broad range of customers in a diverse and expansive environment
3. Experience documenting and monitoring service requests and incidents and hardware/software inventory management.
4. Experience providing quality customer service and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical staff.
5. Experience troubleshooting computer and telecommunications issues and resolving or triaging as necessary.
