Hourly Rate: $10.500 per hour.

Duration: Job starts approximately April 1, 2018

Job Description: Fisheries Technician - LTE

Position will assist with spawning, hatching and rearing operations, as well as pond harvest and distribution for muskellunge and walleye. Individual will conduct maintenance of hatchery grounds, facilities and equipment.

60% Assist with hatching and rearing operations at hatchery.

15% Assist with spawning operations for muskellunge, walleye and white sucker on area lakes.

15% Maintain grounds, facilities and equipment as needed.

10% Assist with harvest and distribution operations.

Knowledge Required:

Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18, able to work outdoors in all weather conditions on a variable schedule, and be a self-starter who is punctual and dependable.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer field experience working with fyke nets, boats, lawn mowers and trimmers.
