Job Description: Visitor Services Associate - LTE

Visitor Services Associates are responsible for greeting park visitors, selling vehicle admission stickers, registering campers, fielding questions about the property and area recreation opportunities, along with a variety of other administrative and financial duties. This position can be 40 hours per week or less depending on your preference and availability. These positions will be expected to work most, if not all, summer weekends, and may be scheduled for evening shifts.

75% Collect fees and disseminate information. Work at entrance stations, campgrounds or other visitor contact stations. Use electronic cash registers, electronic credit card verification equipment and computerized reservation and reporting systems. Register campers; sell admission stickers to public. Provide answers to visitor questions concerning the specific park area, as well as explain the area's recreational opportunities, interpretive services, concessions and campground availability.

15% Manage daily sticker account and remit all revenues in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records regarding camper and campsite information. Maintain a clean and organized office with up-to-date information for both the public and other coworkers.

10% Assist park managers or other park employees in any other duties as assigned. Clean restrooms and public use areas in and around the park contact station.

Knowledge Required:

Required Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and public
- Customer service and cash handling training or experience
- Knowledge and experience working with computers
- Ability to work a modified schedule; nights, weekends, holidays, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to problem solve and work with limited supervision
- Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and punctual
