Job Description: Laborer - LTE

This is an open recruitment that will be posted until the positions are filled. Please apply as soon as possible.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Wilson State Nursery in Boscobel, WI, is hiring up to 27 individuals to work in the spring tree seedling distribution program. Duties include lifting, grading or packing tree seedlings. These are temporary jobs (3 to 5 weeks) which will begin in late March or early April. Flexible work schedules will be considered on a case by case basis.

75% Duties include grading, lifting, packing seedlings for seedling distribution season.

20% Duties include assisting with stock care including weeding, as well and facilities and equipment care.

5% Administrative duties include time sheets, training, record keeping.

Knowledge Required:

Required Qualifications:
- Need to pay attention to detail, be reliable, and work well with others.
- May need to stand in one location for extended period of time, may need to work in variety of weather conditions from cold and rain to hot and dry, and may need to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
