Hourly Rate: $11.000 per hour.

Duration: Job starts approximately April 7, 2018

Job Description: Laborer - LTE

This part-time building cleaner position is stationed at High Cliff State Park. Duration of employment is from approximately mid-May through early September, with weekends available in spring and fall. Position will be working 30 to 40 hours per week between 8am and 4pm. Must be in good physical shape with the ability to lift 40 pounds. Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.

65% Clean park facilities including flush and vault toilet buildings, shower buildings, accessible cabin, and shelters.

25% Light maintenance including weed trimming, brush removal, sign installation, painting and mowing.

10% Operate vehicles and light equipment

Knowledge Required:

Required Qualifications:
- Applicants must have sufficient training and experience to demonstrate that, upon appointment, the skills and knowledge necessary to perform the tasks have been acquired.
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and punctual.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and public.
- Willing to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
- Requires operation of trucks, mowers, string trimmers and hand tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Building cleaning experience
- Building and grounds maintenance experience
