Title: LTE - LABORER (4 Positions)

Hourly Rate: Between $10.50 - $11.00 per hour depending on experience and training. This position is anticipated to start working weekends in May, and work 40 hours/week starting in June.

Duration: Job starts approximately May 1, 2018

Job Description: Laborer - LTE

Point Beach State Forest is a busy outdoor recreation area located on the shores of Lake Michigan. Successful candidate will be required to work weekends and holidays. Work shifts are available starting on Weekends in May then full time Memorial day through Labor Day. Up to 40 hours per week in September and October May be available as well. Required orientation is scheduled for April 7th or April 14th.

50% Mow grass. Pick up litter. Clean beach areas, restrooms, campfire rings and picnic grills. Remove trees and brush.

30% Perform general maintenance duties. Develop and maintain trail surfaces. Install signs. Haul garbage. Paint grills and picnic tables.

10% Operate vehicles and light equipment.

10% Perform minor plumbing and electrical duties.

Knowledge Required:

All candidates must be at least 18 years of age; possess a valid WI drivers license; have two years driving experience; good physical condition with the ability to lift 40 pounds; must be able to work weekends and holidays. Housing is not available.

Prior work experience in janitorial services; experience with lawn/landscape equipment; riding mowers, weed whips etc. is preferred.
