Title: LTE - VISITOR SERVICES ASSOCIATE (3 Positions)

Hourly Rate: Between $10.00 - $12.00 per hour depending on experience and training.

Duration: Job starts approximately April 15, 2018

Job Description: Visitor Services Associate - LTE

These positions serve as the front line staff for Harrington Beach State Park; customer service and sales; registering campers, selling park stickers and light cleaning.

55% Greet visitors, collect and account for fees and disseminate information. Work at entrance stations, campgrounds or other visitor contact stations. Use electronic cash registers, electronic credit card verification equipment and computerized reservation and reporting systems.

10% Issue admission receipts in accordance with established guidelines.

25% Provide answers to visitor questions concerning the specific park area, as well as explain the area's recreational opportunities, interpretive services, concessions and campground availability.

10% Distribute brochures, maps and provide directions/routes of travel throughout the park; inform visitors of potential safety hazards.

- Self-motived, punctual and the ability to work independently
- Enjoy working with the public

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and public
- Customer service and cash handling experience
- Knowledge and experience working with computers
- Ability to work a modified schedule; nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
