Between $10.00 - $11.52 per hour depending on experience and training.
Job starts approximately April 1, 2018
Laborer -LTE
These positions serve as the front line staff for one of Wisconsin's busiest State Parks! Laborers are responsible for a mix of inside and outside work, involving cleaning, and turf maintenance, as well as general maintenance. Must be available weekends, and be able to provide transportation to the work site. The ability to work independently, be self-motivated and punctual essential.
50%- Mow grass. Pick up litter. Clean beach areas, restrooms, campfire rings and picnic grills. Remove trees and brush.
30%- Perform general maintenance duties. Develop and maintain trail surfaces. Install signs. Haul garbage. Paint grills and picnic tables.
10%- Operate vehicles and light equipment.
10%-Perform minor plumbing and electrical duties.
Required Qualifications:
- Great attitude
- Hard working
- Team player
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge, skills and experience of general maintenance operations
- Previous custodial/cleaning experience
- Building/facility or repair maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and punctual
- Ability to work a modified schedule; nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
