Job Description: Records/Forms Management Specialist - LTE

Under the general supervision of the Bureau of Legal Services Section Chief, coordinate open records requests at a division level from intake to completion while providing excellent customer service to both requesters and staff. This position is half time; 20 hours/week. It will be filled in conjunction with another half-time Paralegal position; for a total of 40 hours/week.

20% Independently interpret department open records policies and procedures and work with staff to assure consistent implementation.

40% Work with internal staff to organize collection of records and monitor completion of requests.

20% Independently manage the administrative duties associated with open record requests, to include making copies, updating databases and creating/sending invoices.

20% Provide excellent customer service and support to requesters and division staff throughout the process.

Knowledge Required:

Required Qualifications:
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Paralegal certificate.
- Previous experience working with public records requests.
