Title: LTE - LABORER (8 Positions)

Hourly Rate: Between $9.50 - $10.50 per hour depending on experience and training.

Duration: Job starts approximately April 3, 2017

Job Description: Laborer-LTE

60% Clean beach areas, restrooms, shower buildings, and picnic grills. Pick up litter. Remove trees and brush. Maintain trails.

20% Perform general grounds maintenance including mowing, brushing, trimming. Install signs, paint/repair picnic tables.

10% Operate vehicles and light equipment.

10% Perform general maintenance and minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Wear required uniform and be a positive representative of the Department.

Knowledge Required: Knowledge and skills in general and preventive maintenance duties including janitorial, grounds work, and painting. Previous park and grounds maintenance and custodial experience preferred. Experience using hand power tools preferred. Exhibit effective communication skills. Must be able to operate vehicles and light equipment. Heavy lifting is required. Must be a self-starter who is punctual and can work independently as well as with co-workers.

Due to equipment usage, you must have a valid operator's license, a minimum of two years licensed driving experience and must be at least 18 years of age.

Additional Information: This position will start approximately May 15 and last through Labor Day. Additional fall work may be available. This position requires weekend and holiday work.

Housing is available on the property.
