VILAS COUNTY LAKES & RIVERS ASSOCIATION: Shoreland Stewardship Covenant Program Development & Implementation

Purpose

Vilas County Lakes and Rivers Association is sponsoring a small scale lake planning grant to develop a shoreland covenant. Project activities include: 1) Preparation of shoreland covenant; 2) Payment of re-registration fee for participating landowners; 3) Produce recognition signage; 4) Secure 15 participating properties; 5) Education and information activities \2013 press releases, presentations, recognition at conferences; 6) Develop final report. Project deliverables include: 1) Shoreland covenant; 2) Protected properties; 3) Final report. Specific conditions for this project: Final report needs Dept review and approval. WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) copy of final report, shoreland covenant, and any educational items.
