POLK COUNTY LWRD: Building Volunteer Capacity for Monitoring in Polk County

Purpose

Polk County is sponsoring a project to purchase a dissolved oxygen meter, flow meter, and GPS unit for volunteers to use for water quality monitoring projects in Polk County. Deliverables include dissolved oxygen profile and flow measurement data entered into SWIMS database, and a final project summary including description of meters and any accessories purchased. Special Conditions: All meters and accessories purchased through this grant shall be housed and maintained at Polk County LWRD office. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist.
