VILLAGE OF BROWN DEER: Proprietary SW BMP 2014 Project

Purpose

to cost-share installation of a BaySaver or similar device and ditch naturalization along approximately 950 feet of a drainage ditch that runs along rear lot lines between N 50th Street and N 51st Street between W Bradley Road and W Willow Road to reduce TP and TSS before discharging to Southbranch Creek. The ditch will be naturalized by removing the concrete lining and installing plants and grasses with deep root systems, per the UNPS & SW Program Construction Grant Application titled Village of Brown Deer BMP Project 2014 and submitted in 2013.

This project is an installation of nonpoint source best management practices to contribute to the restoration of Wisconsin´┐Żs waters and was funded by the 319 grant.
