Aquatic Invasives Early Detection and Response
In the summer of 2005, staff from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) verified the presence of Eurasian water milfoil (Myriophyllum spicatum, EWM), a potentially handful exotic species in the lake. A baseline survey for EWM completed in September of that same year indicated that the invasive plant occurs in many locations throughout the lake.
