GOLDEN SANDS RC&D: LMI-Mill Creek Watershed

Purpose

Golden Sands RC&D proposes to fund a certified grazing specialist position to work with farmers toward reduction of sediment and phosporous run-off within the Mill Creek Watershed, and associated impacts to Lakes Petenwell and Castle Rock. Major project elements to include: a) identification of stakeholders, b) provide technical assistance and planning, c) education and outreach events and materials, d) update waterway access information, and e) final report.
