COLUMBIA COUNTY LWCD: Lake Wisconsin Access Inventory

Purpose

Lake Wisconsin Access Inventory \2013 Columbia County LWCD will conduct a public access survey on the Columbia County side of Lake Wisconsin to help the public better use these areas and to help identify infrastructure needs, in addition to preparing for an eventual lake management plan that would include aquatic invasive species prevention component. After collecting property deed information, each public access site would be photographed, and a variety of parameters documented, including things like fire number, driving directions to the site, parking surface and number of spaces, signs posted, survey markers present, topography, etc. The data will be entered into a GEO database, and a final report will be presented to stakeholders.
