Preliminary Findings: Final report for Project funded with 2013 Capacity Monitoring Funds.
A study plan submitted by the Wisconsin DNR in 2013 and again in 2015 was approved by Mr. Bruce Peterjohn, the Bird Banding Laboratory’s Director, for auxiliary marking of Common Terns on Interstate Island and Ashland in June 2015. The purpose of this report is to summarize the details of the 2015 field work, discuss its benefits, report on findings from tags retrieved in 2014, and also propose future work.
Final report on nesting surveys of Common Tern at 4 sites: Tern Island, Interstate Island, Techlow's Island, and Sabai's Site. Report is excerpt from statewide report.
