SAWYER COUNTY LAKES FORUM: Sawyer County Lakes Forum Lake Education Project

Purpose

Sawyer County Lakes Forum is sponsoring an education project to develop and distribute lake living booklets to shoreland property owners and visitors to Sawyer County. The booklets will educate readers about a variety of lake issues such as boating safety, aquatic invasive species, non-toxic tackle, first aid, lake lore, and shoreline buffers. Specific deliverables for this project include a summary report including evaluation results and examples of educational tools, publications, booklets, and/or presentations developed. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Coordinator.
