Sheboygan River AOC Targeted Invasive Species Control Survey and Plan


This project (the Sheboygan River AOC Targeted Invasive Species Mapping & Treatment Plan) is the first phase, in a two phase project, to control targeted invasive species within the Sheboygan River AOC. This phase of the project includes invasive species mapping and treatment planning. Invasive plant species targeted within this project include Japanese knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum), giant reed grass (Phragmites australis), garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata), and buckthorn (Rhamnus spp.).The goal of the project is to restore a diverse native plant community in the targeted areas that will provide habitat to a range of fish and wildlife species.
