Conduct 3 acute and chronic toxicity tests on Powell Marsh & Dead Pike Lake in Vilas County. Work is conducted by Jim Kreitlow, Rhinelander. Concern is alleged ambient Iron and manganese toxicity In the Powell Marsh ditches and inlet discharge to Dead Pike Lake. We would also include a control site (Circle Lilly Creek). Ambient water acute and chronic toxicity testing is requested along with Total and dissolved Iron and manganese testing. Sampling to occur in July or August; three samples total.
