Purpose

Ozaukee County Planning and Parks Department is undertaking a project to continue collecting water quality samples on Mole and Ulao Creeks and the Little Menomonee River. Project final deliverables include: printed and digital copy of a project summary report. Report shall include a summary of all activities conducted under this grant, as well as a summary of data results. Specific project activities include: 1) collect water quality samples (TP, ortho-P, TSS, chlorides, e-coli) at each of 26 locations over five growing season sampling events on Mole Crk, Ulao Creek, and the LMR. 2) deploy seven continuous water quality monitoring units (measuring temp., DO, pH, SpC, and depth) on a rotating basis at 26 sites on Mole Crk, Ulao Creek, and the LMR for a total of five cumulative sampling events at each waterbody. 3) enter all collected data into SWIMS. 4) a final report as described in the application, including analysis and comparison of data collected from 2016-2020. Special Conditions: Provide summary of partners that collected data was shared with (SWWT, MMSD, other orgs.) This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Records, reports, and digital images must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional River Coordinator. If a consultant is to provide final report, it is recommended that Grantee provide DNR Rivers Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
