SOUTHWEST BADGER R C & D: Friends of the Platte River

Purpose

Southwest Badger Resource Conservation and Development will sponsor a project to assist the Friends of the Platte River, Grant County, to continue membership growth, build support, and sustain efforts in the preservation and recreation in the Platte River watershed. Project deliverables include: 1) establish volunteer water monitoring programs; 2) produce interviews, articles, etc. for publication in local print media; 3) hold public educational events; 4) continue distribution of newsletter; 5) modify/expand website; 6) set up traveling display; 7) work with landowners, school groups, UW Platteville on river-related projects.
