Sponsor: Wood County Land and Water Conservation Department Project: Wood/Portage Counties Bear Creek Stream Monitoring Project Purpose: This project will pay for the lab costs for additional sampling of the Bear Creek to fill gaps for the Mill Creek 9-Key Element Plan. The monitoring will also be used to identify potential high nutrient load areas in this sub-watershed. Project activities include: \2022 Six surface water sampling points over the growing season \2022 Flow monitoring \2022 Load calculation Project deliverables: All data collected, all outreach and event materials, agendas and minutes from meetings. Specifically: \2022 Water quality results uploaded to SWIMS \2022 Long-term monitoring plan \2022 Evaluation of land BMP\2019s Special conditions: WDNR River Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) copy of all data and maps from the project. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lakes Coordinator
