Aquatic Invasives Education
The Hooker Lake Management District (District) was created in June 1990 to provide a stable taxing authority to fund aquatic plant management and other activites to improve Hooker Lake. The District boundaries include the area around Hooker Lake. Aron & Associates was contracted in 2008 to conduct an aquatic plant survey and to create an Aquatic Plant Management Plan in compliance with the Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) program under a grant awarded by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) Lakes program.
