CITY OF GREENFIELD: Honey Creek Stream Restoration

Purpose

The City of Greenfield will develop a Concept Plan for the restoration of Honey Creek in Milwaukee County, consisting of: a Preliminary Engineering Review and Concept Plan section; a Conceptual Habitat Improvement Plan section; and a Plan for Collecting Baseline Water Quality Monitoring section, formulated through the engagement of project partners and the community. Project final deliverables include: A printed and digital copy of a Honey Creek Restoration Concept Plan. Specific project activities include: 1) A preliminary Engineering Review and Concept Plan. 2) A Conceptual Habitat Improvement Plan. 3) A Plan for Collecting Baseline Water Quality Monitoring, including a summary of 2020 water quality monitoring data from the Project Area and the entry of all collected data into SWIMS. 4) Informational/educational outreach to partners and community. Special Conditions: The Plan shall include an addendum summarizing outreach activities conducted under this grant, including copies of newsletter articles, dates and summaries of presentations, and programs conducted. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Records, reports, and digital images must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional River Coordinator. If a consultant is to provide final report, it is recommended that Grantee provide DNR Rivers Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
