MILWAUKEE RIVERKEEPER: Phosphorus Monitoring in the Milwaukee River Basin

Purpose

Milwaukee Riverkeeper will monitor Total Phosphorus during the growing season of 2020 at 65 locations within the Milwaukee River Basin. Project final deliverables include: printed and digital copy of a project summary report. Report shall include a summary of all activities conducted under this grant, as well as a summary of 2020 data results and long-term trend analysis. Specific project activities include: 1) Collect Total Phosphorus water samples at 65 locations within the Milwaukee River Basin over six growing season sampling events. 2) Complete long-term trend analysis on 10 years of data. (As described in the application.) 3) Enter all collected data into SWIMS. Special Conditions The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources intends to financially support the activities specified in this grant agreement, but the grantee is considered an independent contractor for all purposes, not an employee or agent of the department. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Records, reports, and digital images must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional River Coordinator. If a consultant is to provide final report, it is recommended that Grantee provide DNR Rivers Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
