Nature Conservancy Chequamegon Bay Watershed Guide

Purpose

The watershed guide is intended to inform landowners throughout the entire watershed of how individual actions play an important part in the Watershed's health in order to protect the waters that flow through the watershed and ultimately into Chequamegon Bay. After reading the Watershed Guide, landowners who live on the Chequamegon Bay to 30 miles away from the Bay will be able to identify with each other and realize how they can affect the Watershed. They will have a better understanding of it's processes and the uniqueness it provides to the area. Individuals reading the guide will also be informed of case studies of local citizen efforts that have been made on watersheds in the area.
