The RWRC will cooperatively partner with local governmental agencies to promote Watershed improvement programs to achieve 5 goals:1)Plan Adoption, Engagement and Communication-20% of program time working with stakeholders to develop value based messages;2)Shoreline Restoration-45% of program time promoting DNR Healthy Lakes Program and Menominee and Shawano Counties\2019 Shoreline Restoration program;3)Agricultural Restoration-25% of program time. Agricultural Partnership Assessment, Education, Outreach, and Implementation will occur using various outreach tools. Shawano and Schoenick Lake watersheds have known non-point source impairments and efforts in these watersheds shall take priority. Pursuing any agricultural producer in the counties is also recommended;4)Aquatic Plant Management-5% of program time;5)Water Quality Monitoring\20135% of program time. The historic disconnect between executing Water Resources messages and stakeholder groups will be filled by using Human Dimensional Science principles. Approved post shoreline or agricultural implementation evaluation questions will be asked to participants and others as part of the Human Dimensional Science integration. The RWRC will also partner with WAMSCO (Waterway Association of Menominee and Shawano Counties) to help build their capacity and improve their connection with recovery efforts. The RWRC will host annual meetings and farmer round tables with lake groups, waterway users, agricultural producers and watershed residents. The RWRC will present the project and final results. The above goals, including the Human Dimensional Science, will be relayed and evaluated including any road blocks that the RWRC experienced. The results will be presented at the Wisconsin Lakes Convention.
