RIVER ALLIANCE OF WISCONSIN: Statewide Riverine AEPP Program

Purpose

River Alliance of Wisconsin will implement their statewide River AIS program for partnership building, education, monitoring, prevention and control of AIS. They will train local AIS staff and lead where necessary Project RED and Snapshot Monitoring; coordinate and standardize data collection efforts between stream monitoring programs; conduct targeted outreach to promote clean angling; maintain and provide support for stream access signage and cleaning tools; contribute to statewide education and policy development and prioritization, and strategic planning; and participate in rapid response projects and documentation. Results will be shared via website and blog, newsletter, e-newsletter, press releases, routine communication with partners, presentations and social media.
