Reports and Documents
Results from this analysis suggested that nutrient and algal concentrations have changed only slightly over the past 100 years; however, the macrophyte community had increased over this time period. The original extent of the EWM infestation was thought to be confined to a few key areas including near the boat launch and at a location in the middle of the lake near the buoy that marks the shallow area near the center of the lake. Professional and volunteer AIS monitoring conducted by trained members of the Muskellunge Lake Association led to the identification of additional areas.
