FRIENDS OF THE ST CROIX HEADWATERS, INC.: Aquatic Plant Survey of the Upper St. Croix River

Purpose

Friends of the St. Croix Headwaters is contracting an aquatic plant survey of the Upper St. Croix River at the outlet of Upper St. Croix Lake down St. Croix Flowage. A point-intercept survey will be completed from the outlet to Cutaway Dam, and an AIS shoreland survey the entire length of the project area. The survey results will be used to develop a yellow iris and purple loosestrife control strategy for implementation in 2017. Deliverables include: point-intercept and shoreland survey results, including data sheets and analysis, GIS files and a project summary. The specific objectives, metrics, and deliverables for the listed activities are included in the application and supporting materials, and this scope is not intended to replace or supersede those documents.
