BAD RIVER WATERSHED ASSOCIATION: Filling Gaps in Stewardship through Pragmatic Expansion

Purpose

The Bad River Watershed Association is sponsoring a project to help expand their program across a broader regional scale in order to increase protection and stewardship awareness among private landowners Deliverables include a comprehensive report including: 1) Final Report summarizing accomplishments/progress of the project including descriptions of research on successful conservation efforts, outreach activities, and resulting conservation collaborations with landowners and partners; 2) report on development of recruiting materials; 3) Report on public outreach with copies of newsletters, educational materials, brochures, etc.; 4) Verification of meetings, workshops, and/or training such as agendas and attendance lists; 5) Report on Planning Strategy effort including SWOT Assessment, surveys, and Planning Specialist fees; 6) Report on, or copies of, related materials generated or paid for by this grant. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the River Coordinator. It is recommended that Grantee provide River Coordinator with a draft final report. The DNR shall receive a paper and electronic copy of the final report.
