NE WISCONSIN LAND TRUST: Stategic Coservation for Green Bay Tribs

Purpose

Northeast Wisconsin Land Trust (NEWLT) proposes to continue an ongoing campaign targeting privately-owned, high-quality, remaining and restorable wetlands along the west shore region of Green Bay and target the best remaining natural lands in riparian corridors along the tributaries to Green Bay. NEWLT will 1) finalize and implement a strategic conservation plan, 2) conduct GIS mapping and conservation value analysis, 3) develop public and landowner outreach materials including landowner survey, new landowner packet, newsletters and host outreach events, 4) meet with prospective partners and stakeholders, and 5) provide a final report summarizing the project to the Department. The project elements and deliverables will be completed as described in the project proposal submitted to the Department and dated December 9, 2014.
