As the fourth highest populated county in the State of Wisconsin, Brown County represents 9.4 percent of the state population. The City of Green Bay is the third most populous incorporated place in Wisconsin with a population of 104,057. The unincorporated Town of Ledgeview experienced a 48.7 percent increase in population with a population of 6,555, and the Town of Lawrence experienced a 63.9 percent increase with a population of 4,284. Creating/maintaining/facilitating controlled growth with cost effective public facilities is the project objective.
