Large Scale Lake Planning
Lakes Planning Report
1) Compile existing land use information and make projections for future development. 2) Use eutrophication modeling technique to calculate nutrient and sediment loading for present and future land use.3) Conduct a lake user survey. 4) Conduct water quality sampling during 1992 per application specs. 5) Conduct erosion/sediment mapping of problem areas. Identify controllable nutrient sources.6) Determine target levels for lake water quality parameters. 7) Develop alternatives to achieve desired reductions in nutrient loading to lake.8) Disseminate information to the public by newsletter, local newspaper articles, fact sheet, public meetings, and the final report.
