Oneida County, Wisconsin
UW44
1612300

Water is impaired due to one or more pollutants and associated quality impacts.
Notes
Deer Lake was identified as impaired in 2018 for mercury in fish tissue and high phosphorus levels. Phosphorus evaluation during the 2022 cycle noted a change in lake classification from Two-Story to Shallow Lowland, which changes the TP criteria. This lake is still listed for TP, but only because current levels are not clearly below its new criteria. Further monitoring is recommended.
