Impaired Water - Tichigan Lake (Tichigan Lake)
Racine County, Wisconsin
FX04
763600

Water is impaired due to one or more pollutants and associated quality impacts.
Notes
Tichigan Lake was evaluated for phosphorus and algae every two years from 2014 to 2020. Phosphorus levels were too high, which was reflected in algal blooms until the 2020 assessment cycle. The 'excess algal blooms' impairment was removed in 2020 but the lake remains listed for phosphorus.

This lake has a specific fish consumption advisory for PCBs.
