The Office of Applied Science employs a highly-skilled staff who are equipped with a broad range of expertise across wildlife, fisheries and ecology research.

OAS staff are located at four research stations throughout the state: The Science Operations Center in Madison; the Northern Forest Research Unit in Rhinelander; the Northern Highland Fisheries Research Area in Boulder Junction; and the DNR Service Center in Spooner.
