Wisconsin State Park System Reservable shelters and facilities

Many Wisconsin state parks and forests have facilities that can be reserved for large group picnics, family reunions, weddings and other events. All Wisconsin state parks and forests have picnic areas and nearly all are accessible to people with disabilities. The following pages list the reservable open and enclosed shelters, auditoriums and amphitheaters in the state park system.


Reservations can be made up to 11 months in advance. For all reservations, use the Facility Rental Reservation Form, if submitting in person or by mail (please note this application form does not guarantee your reservation - the property office will notify you when your reservation has been confirmed). If calling in a reservation, be ready to provide the information requested on the form. Facilities are typically open May through October.

This Facility Reservation Form does not include the amphitheaters at Rib Mountain and Mirror Lake state parks or the Friends Gathering Space at Rib Mountain. You must use the appropriate forms for those facilities:
