Hiking Hiking

Observation tower
The observation tower rises high above the treetops.

There are more than nine miles of hiking trails at Hoffman Hills. A 60-foot-high observation tower offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.

Pets are not allowed at Hoffman Hills.

Picnicking Picnic areas

There are three picnic areas in Hoffman Hills.

Hunting Hunting

Hoffman Hills is open for the regular 9-day gun deer season in November. The area is not open for any other hunting or trapping seasons.

Winter Activities Winter activities

There are nine miles of ski trails that vary in difficulty and are groomed for both stride and skate styles of skiing. Sleds, snowboards, snowshoes and hikers are not allowed on groomed ski trails. Skiers age 16 years and older must have a state trail pass.

There's an off-trail snowshoe area in the western part of the property.
