Hoffman Hills State Recreation Area offers 707 acres of preserved and restored wooded hills, wetlands and prairie traversed with hiking and cross-country ski trails. A 60-foot-high observation tower crowns one of the highest points in Dunn County, offering spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, especially in autumn. Hoffman Hills is also an excellent bird watching area.

- Pets are not allowed at Hoffman Hills.
Directions
From the west, take Interstate 94 to the County Highway B exit about 4 miles east of Menomonie. Go left (north) on Highway B about .7 mile to 650th Avenue. Go right (east) on 650th Avenue which joins County Highway E in about 1.5 miles. Continue on Highway E about 3.5 miles to 740th Street. Turn left (north) on 740th Street and go about 1.3 miles. The park entrance will be on your right.
From the east, take Interstate 94 to the US Highway 12 / State Highway 29 exit. Go right (west) on Highway 12/29 about 3 miles to 730th Street. Take 730th Street. right (north) about 2 miles to 650th Ave. Turn left (west) on 650th Ave. and turn right (north) onto County Highway E. Follow Highway E for about 1 mile and turn left (north) on 740th Street. Go about 1.3 miles. The park entrance will be on your right.
Hoffman Hills is 10 miles northeast of Menomonie, at 44° 56' 37.98" N, 91° 46' 58.92" W.
Fees
- Vehicle admission sticker is not required at Hoffman Hills State Recreation Area.
- State trail pass is required for cross-country skiers 16 years of age and older.
- Hunting licenses apply.
