Yellowstone Lake State Park Current conditions

The shooting range is temporarily closed due to standing water and a berm mud slide.

Notice: Many campsites are still wet and some will be muddy. If you have questions about campsites, please call the park office. Park trails are wet and muddy in low lying areas. Please use caution when using them. The lake level is very high.

Don't move firewood!Due to the potential of carrying harmful tree pests and diseases, Wisconsin has restrictions for moving firewood.

Shooting range

The Yellowstone Public Shooting Range is open every day of the week except Tuesdays.

Please help us keep the range safe and clean by reporting rule violations to the DNR TIP Line: 1-800-TIP-WDNR.
