Sugar River State Trail Current conditions

State trail passes are required for bicyclists 16 years and older. Passes may be purchased at self-registration boxes along the trail and at local vendors.

Pet owners, please be sure to have your pet on a leash, 8 feet or shorter, at all times. You must pick up after your pet.

Horses, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and UTVs are not permitted on the Sugar River State Trail corridor at any time of the year.

Please Note: The Sugar River State Trail passes through many lowland/wetland areas. During and after rain events, users may find wet and soft surfaces and standing water in some locations. Please use caution for wet conditions or for downed trees or damage caused by animals.
