Military Ridge State Trail Current conditions

Trail section closures: Sections of the Military Ridge State Trail are temporarily closed due to recent storms and/or construction projects:

  • The trail is closed for about 1 mile from County Highway J to Riley Road (just west of the Riley Trailhead and parking lot). Trail users can detour around this section by traveling on Hwy J to Riley Road or vice versa.
  • The trail is closed for about 2 miles from Ridgevue Road in Ridgeway west to Evans Quarry Road due to construction of a clover leaf intersection on U.S. Highway 151.

Trail Section Closure Oct. 15-19: The trail will be closed from Nine Mound Road to White Crossing Road during this week for construction work to replace a bridge. Please obey trail barricades and closures. This section will reopen for the weekend (Oct. 20-21).
