Bearskin State Trail

Bearskin State Trail Current conditions

Notice: Due to the high rain events earlier this summer, a 150-foot section of trail just south of the Schaffer’s Wharf trestle is partially washed away. Repairs for this section of trail are scheduled between Nov. 1 and Dec. 1, 2018. Please be aware the trail may be temporarily closed during this time.

Staff are getting the trail ready for snowmobile season. Vault toilets are closed and water pump handles are removed. Rubber matting has been placed on the Schaffer’s Wharf trestle to protect it from snowmobile cleats and studs.

State trail passes are required for bicyclists 16 years and older. Self-registration stations are available at both trailheads.
