Wisconsin's endangered resources
Wisconsin's native plants, animals and landscapes are a big part of what makes the state great. Preserving this natural heritage for current and future generations is the mission of the Bureau of Natural Heritage Conservation. Bald eagles, trumpeter swans and osprey, once on the brink of extinction, now soar in our skies thanks to our work with help from citizens, organizations, business and government.
